The Josephine Suite at Solitude Mountain was absolutely perfect for our stay—truly the kind of place that makes a trip unforgettable. The location couldn’t be better; stepping right out onto the slopes each morning and skiing back to the door at the end of the day was incredibly convenient and made the whole experience seamless and relaxing. The condo itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with quality furnishings, plenty of space, and stunning mountain views that made it hard to leave. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the bathrooms excellent. The pool, sauna and hot tub all were great. Every detail felt carefully considered, from the easy check-in process to the clear communication from the host, who was responsive and genuinely welcoming. Whether you’re planning a ski trip or just looking for a peaceful mountain escape, this place delivers on every level—we would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-tier stay at Solitude.
Really responsive service from Vacasa reps. Accommodations were outstanding!
The condo is perfect for a ski trip to Solitude. The place was clean, comfortable and an easy walk to the chair lift. I would definitely stay here again.
We were really impressed by this condo. We stayed 4 nights over President's Day weekend. It was myself, my husband, and our 3 children (ages 6, 9, and 10). We flew into SLC airport, stopped at a grocery store in Salt Lake City, and then came up to Solitude. We parked our car in the building and didn't touch it again until 4 days later when we drove back to the airport. (Note that you do need to have certain tires for going up the canyon--we rented a 4 wheel drive from Enterprise and they were able to assign us a car with a sticker to show it had been pre-approved). This condo's location is excellent (very close to the slopes and ski rental shop). I will note that the closest lifts do not provide access to beginner level runs and that the ski school is based out of Moonbeam lodge. You can still easily walk up a short short hill to then ski down under Links lift (which is basically a bunny hill) to the ski school meet up. Or you can take a 1 minute shuttle which came very frequently and was super easy. We were very impressed when we arrived in the condo that it had been thoughtfully stocked by a number of snacks and treats all from Trader Joe's. Popcorn, granola bars, coffee K cups, cookies, lemonade, hot chocolate--all very thoughtful. The kitchen is small but we were so impressed that it was thoughtfully well stocked. Not only were there basic spices and olive oil, but we were appreciative of nice quality cookie sheets and extras like ziplock bags. This was great for us as we did all our breakfasts and dinners in the condo. Our younger two children slept in a queen bed together and our oldest slept on the sofa. The sheets and mattresses were all very comfortable and we were appreciative that everything was in such good and clean condition. We also especially appreciated that there is a washer/dryer and also a glove/boot warmer in the condo. And there is a condo-specific locker down on the first floor of the building for skis/poles. Finally, my children loved the pool and hot tub and game room. I personally found the pool a bit chilly (it was heated and my children did not mind but it was not quite warm enough for my adult self) and you should know that the slide is closed off during winter months. The hot tub was delightful though and our kids absolutely loved playing skee ball and air hockey in the game room. This was a fabulous February long weekend getaway and I would definitely recommend this particular condo. 10 out of 10 stars!
We spent almost a full week at Eagle Springs East at Solitude. The condo unit has super easy access to snow. The Great Bits: this unit is newly renovated with great room sizes, full kitchen with everything you need including coffee machine with variety of Lavazza coffee in the unit. Bathrooms were spacious and super clean. On the first floor there are multiple game rooms for kids, billiards room for adults, outdoor heated pool, two hot tubs, and sauna plus the unit came with an indoor parking spot, which is a must! And did I mention location was awesome? The real bonus is the free ski storage so you don’t have to carry your skis to the unit. There is a small grocery store, two bar and grill places and a pizzeria steps away. This place is a hidden gem! We will definitely visit again.
