I love the kitchen and living room space.
We had an amazing stay at this rental during our ski trip to Park City. The property was everything we hoped for and more! The hot tub was an absolute hit, especially with the kids after long days on the slopes—it was the perfect way to unwind. The kitchen was super spacious and had everything we needed, making meal prep a breeze. Being an end unit was a bonus, offering plenty of privacy and beautiful views of the surrounding area. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our family ski vacation. Highly recommend this rental to anyone planning a trip to Park City!
The many bathrooms, and large living space and kitchens.
The Good: This home is huge! Two living rooms, four bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, & a large kitchen! It offered plenty of space for our family of 6. You walk in on on the middle floor of this 3-story home, with the main living room & kitchen on the 2nd floor (i.e. main floor), a huge living room, bedroom, & laundry on the bottom floor, and 4 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms upstairs. Our kids loved having the bottom floor living room to play in. It's probably 30x18'! The homeowners have tons of DVDs, books, & even some games available. And, while some of the cooking items could be replaced, the home is very well stocked for cooking at home. The beds are also very comfortable. The Meh: Vacasa cleans the obvious things, but not the important things. 100% of the small rugs that lined hallways, kitchen, etc were caked with dirt, sand, & filth. Same for all of the vents in the house. Air filters are also waaaay past their needing to be changed. The water pressure is poor in the home. It's not the homeowner's fault, since the house is on a hill, but it's noteworthy nonetheless. The Bad: The home is missing a lot of things that'd make the home more enjoyable. There are two large balconies with incredible views, but ZERO outdoor furniture. There are two irons, but no ironing board. There are no keys provided to lock the doors. So, you have to leave the garage door unlocked when you leave the house in your car. During our 15 day stay, Vacasa never returned a single call about this issue. Oddly, the A/C for the 2nd floor controls the 1st floor as well. But, b/c the 1st floor is built into the side of a mountain, it stays 5-10 degrees cooler. It ended up being too cold at night for anyone to use the downstairs bedroom (though our 9 y/o daughter tried). Summation: I'd absolutely stay in this home again BECAUSE the price point is so outstanding relative to other large properties. You just have to know going in that Vacasa is horrible about the "details" and the home lacks some key amenities.
Great place - liked the location, community pool, views from the condo complex. Very clean. Room for improvement: As asked by Vacasa I sent a message immediately about a few things that could use attention, including cable tv doesn’t work so TVs upstairs are useless. List game console (Wii) it doesn’t work. Spa kept tripping breaker. They promised to send someone out, no one ever came except I believe spa repair. Also, they are supposed to come take out trash cans, the local a manger text me to say they would be by to take out trash - it was the wrong day and no one ever came. We don’t mind taking it out, but clearly local manager isn’t doing local management. Kitchen pans need replacing, very scratched and there’s no lids for pans so if you are cooking something that needs to be covered during cooking bring foil. We had to empty ashes from BBQ, suggest investing in a propane bbq. There were crickets inside downstairs (sleep with one eye open!), hopefully management took care of that after we left.
A group of us take a ski trip every year. This was our third trip to Park City. It can be a challenge finding a space large enough to comfortably sleep 8-10 adults. We had good experiences on the Canyons side, but decided to try this unit. We were very pleased. The home is spacious and clean. It was priced right, and had the extra space we needed. The hot tub - a must have - was clean, easy to access and had extra towels provided. The area is a short drive to the Park City Resort and all the restaurants in town. When we stayed in for dinner we had plenty of space to cook and dine and hang out. This will be our first choice for next year!
