Overall, we had a good stay at Unit 430. We feel it is a great central location in Lakeland Village. The lodge is pretty dated and feels old. I agree with a previous customer that the place is not very well lit. We were only there for a short weekend, so we did not use the kitchen to cook, but it’s a functional kitchen and the brightest room in the unit. Our stay was so short, we didn’t even look in the kitchen cabinets! We like that there were 3 beds (2 in the loft for our adult children). The loft was very warm, but a fan was supplied. We like that the bathroom is separated from the sink since there is only one bathroom. The shower head is nice, good water pressure. Bathroom was amply supplied. We love that it’s close to the beach, but it gets pretty crowded. This location is close enough to Heavenly Village. The place was good enough for a short weekend, but not sure about a longer stay.

I was highly disapointed in this unit at Lakeland Village. Having stayed in over 20 condos here. This one was available, and on the lower price end, and now I know why. All the dishes had to be cleaned before using. Overall unit is VERY bare-bones. NO extra/added conveniences. Furniture is cheap and old, carpet is gross. Sheets and towels were clean, thanksfully. Its time this unit got a major refresh.

It is good place to stay for the location and the support staffs. However, the place needs renovation especially in the kitchen and cooking utensils.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5-night stay in Lakeland Village 430. As others note, it is a lovely location - not only on the shore of Lake Tahoe but also for conveniences and opportunities. While it is a bit of a walk to Stateline, a Whole Foods is literally across the street and surrounded by restaurants and stores. Better yet, it is a short distance to amazing places to hike, including Fallen Leaf Lake, Emerald Bay, Nevada Beach, Van Sickle Bi-State Park, and Kingsbury Grade areas, let alone the lake shore of Lake Tahoe and pier. In the evenings, the firepits and pier at the lakeside are wonderful places to enjoy the fresh air, scenery, and good company. Some notes on unit 430: • It is in a very good location in the complex: far enough from Hwy-50 to not have road noise, a very short walk to the lake, and close to parking but facing away from the parking lot. • The living room area is very comfortable. The sofa and loveseat are comfortable for sitting and napping. Unlike many units, the seating allows you to easily see outside through the balcony doors, the fireplace, and the TV from the same position. The fire is wood burning and you can buy some wood at the Safeway down the street. • The second story balcony is a wonderful place to relax amid the trees, and while you cannot see the beach directly, you are close enough to see the lake through the doors of the lakeside building. • The master bedroom bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. • Good supply of kitchen towels, dish soap, and dishwasher soap was provided. Some things to be aware of: • The master bedroom and the one bathroom are located on the ground floor. Over the time of your stay, even if you don't go hiking in the mountains, you will accumulate plenty of elevation gain going up and down the stairs. • The master bedroom does not have good lighting. There are two bedside lights and one on the dresser. Unfortunately, you must unplug the TV to plug in this third lamp. It would be nice if the switch as you entered the room would turn on a light so you don't have to fumble trying to find the switches on each light. Opening the shades makes a big difference during the day. • Guests in the loft need to go down a narrow spiral staircase and then down the main flight of stairs to use the bathroom adjacent to the master bath. • The kitchenware supplies are inadequate. A couple microwavable bowls with lids and a cookie sheet would go a long way for the preparation of simple foods like microwaving veggies, soups, etc. and simple heating. The unit did not have a wine opener; we fixed this by leaving the one we purchased. • A quilt would be nice for cool evenings. • The lakeside pool and hot tub were unfortunately closed for the winter. There is a pool and hot tub at the main lodge. However, they are only separated from the busy Hwy-50 by a fence. Hope you don't have to have to deal with Vacasa phone or message support. Otherwise great stay and recommend.

This was our first time visiting Lake Tahoe and I couldn’t have been more happier with the townhome we stayed in!! It was clean, close to the parking area, close to the pool and beach!! We even got the opportunity to see a bear wander through the village from the back porch! It fit our family of 4— 2 boys ages 6 and 8— very comfortably! I would like to add, if you plan on cooking in the townhome, bring your own spices and seasonings as well as your own coffee + filters if you like to drink coffee as these items weren’t supplied in the home! We will be returning! Thank you for allowing us to stay in such a wonderful place!!
