Very close to shopping area, restaurants, next to the Lake, enough parking spot. Glad to see security personnel were on site 24/7.
This is a nice little unit, pretty much a hotel room which we liked. None of the ridiculous cleaning, laundry, trash clearing which usually happens with VRBO. The main issue was the noise above us. We were on the second floor, and could hear all the foot traffic above.
Very quit peaceful place located in a convenient spot- pool was so nice and never crowded beautiful big jacuzzi- staff is kind and considerate- great place to get away but still be close to south lake tahoe
Pros: Clean, kitchenette, beach access, appears secure. Cons: 10 digit room code required to access room upon each entry. Supposed to wear wrist bands to access almost any amenity. No one wore wrist bands or were checking wrist bands the entire time we were there. No property maps. The signage on the property was not adequate. We had to go to the front desk to figure out where our room was. I was supposed to get an email with other printed documents, which I never received. I would suggest some sort of pamphlet/map to guide people to their room in the lodge. And also a map of where the laundry room is.
The unit was clean and cozy. It was great to meet our sleeping needs during our stay however we were very disappointed with the way July 4th worked. Nobody ever explained anything to us as far as being able to have a spot to sit on the beach to watch the fireworks at night. We went out to lay on the beach at 10 o’clock in the morning on July 4 and we could not even enjoy the beach because it was jam-packed with tents and every lounge chair was taken so we did not have a way to be able to watch the fireworks, which was the whole point of our trip and staying at this location. Not only did we miss the entire firework show at night we could not step foot on the beach the entire day because it was SO crowded! We could not even find a spot to lay on a towel on the sand for an hour. They should have some kind of procedure in place and explain to the guests what we need to do to have a spot to watch the fireworks or lay out. Since you’re paying for a place with a private beach you should be able to access it. We were also told no pets allowed yet there were hundreds of dogs staying on property!
The condo feels like an upscale motel kitchette .. which is perfect for people trying to save $ by eating some meals in. The bed is amazing which is a rare find. I’d rent this condo again just for the bed. The one thing that’s super annoying is the keyless entry code for the unit is 10 digits long. They should let you customize the entry code is my only suggestion
