Although it did not have the most modern finishes this condo was very clean and everything was in working order. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed, including a full sized coffee pot! If you didn’t already notice from the pics it’s worth noting that it only has a mini fridge. We already had a cooler with us so we just used that for our groceries that didn’t fit in the fridge. The community is SO WELL maintained and even though it’s an older community everything is clean and fresh. This condo is located in the lodge which is a few minutes walk to the beach and fire pits and BBQs, but it’s a pleasant stroll through the condos on a well lit and maintained path. This particular unit is RIGHT ON Lake Tahoe Blvd and the traffic noise is LOUD!!! For the price though there had to be some catch because everything else was great!
Good location of condo -close to casinos -popular spots and good restaurants-nice patio -nice pool and hot tub area
I booked through booking.com. Specifically booked this room for two reasons: two twin beds in the loft and air conditioning. Come to find why was actually booked was a queen bed (so someone had to sleep on the air mattress in the living room) and the ac is ONLY in the living room. The main room was HOT. We had to stay in the main closed room for our 2 year old so she could nap and go to bed early sleep in etc. she was MISERABLE because of the heat. We couldn’t open the door because it was on the highway so that was out. Then the bed we slept in was super uncomfortable, it’s old and you fall into the center. Them for 4 people they only have a mini fridge so we had to utilize ice chests to keep other items cold.
Nothing. Only the booking and the checking in was pleasant. I let Vacasa know that I have asthma and I can not stay in the unit. They said they had no other units and their remedy was to cover up the smell with a spray they said was not toxic and oderless. The smell I could not take due to my asthma. Then they were wanting to replace the air with outside air which was going to smell the same becouse the unit had everything penetrated with smoke. I told them if I stayed in the unit I might have a serious breathing reaction having to go to the hospital. After 3 calls and 4.5 hrs later I had to leave. The only response I recived was after the 1st call After that it was like it was falling on deaf ears and they were waiting to see if I would just give up. I called booking.com and let them know. I had to leave. That property that Vacasa manages is not somewhere one would want to stay if the customer service response to a situation where a perons health is at risk falls by the wayside.
The only thing we liked about our stay: the ability to walk to the lake and the fire pits. Not happy with our room. Very dated. A lot of construction going on the property that we did not know about. Especially near the lobby area. Loose electrical outlets in the rooms, no additional toilet paper provided to us--we had to go out and buy our own, as well as hand soap for the bathrooms and kitchen sink. We were very disappointed.
