Right on the beach!!!
Fantastic location right on beach. Perfect for small children as you don't have to pack up to go to beach.
Can't beat the location, just steps from the sand. If you're paying for convenience to beach and location, you can't beat it! Floors were pretty dirty when cleaning up some spilled water shortly after we arrived and a good amount of sand was in a couple beds at arrival. Cleanliness could improve and some of the furniture was pretty beat up (mattresses sagging, pillows lumpy, bed frames not very sturdy/squeeky, etc) and could use some overall maintenance upkeep and freshening up.
The home was clean, the location perfect, views were amazing, and having beach access right out the door made for a perfect mini vacation. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Southshore Tahoe.
I have stayed in this unit for over 20 years. We stopped renting it because the house was so rundown. It was great to see this year that the house has been updated. Flooring, Kitchen, furniture, smart TV etc.
When we walked into this rental we opened the door to the most stunning view of gorgeous Lake Tahoe from the slider and large living room window. In addition, there are two chairs and a table at the window to enjoy the view. We used these often! The sliding glass door opens to a cozy patio with chairs and a table and steps right down to the beach and lake. It was so amazing and special to walk right out to the lake and the weather was so gorgeous that we were lakeside often. Our trip was in the spring and the sunset over the snow-covered mountains was breathtaking. The condo itself had more beds than we needed but the beds we used were very comfortable with nice sheets and new, fluffy pillows. The condo was immaculately clean and much of the furniture seemed new and looked nicer than the photos. Future vacationers should know Vacasa does not provide a few things: spices including olive oil or salt & pepper, tissues, coffee or filters, and no washer/dryer in the unit. Also, toilet paper was so thin we ended up buying our own, there are only two kitchen towels provided, and only enough dishwasher detergent for two loads. Otherwise they do provide plenty of handsoap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, plenty of towels including beach towels, a new sponge and dishwashing liquid (for handwashing). Though the condo has a lot of bedrooms and beds (3 bedrooms + 2 lofts), there are only two bathrooms so this is good to keep in mind for a large group. Good to know that the lakeside pool is seasonally closed, but both hot tubs and the other pool are open. There are two dry saunas, and in our experience the sauna in the mens area seemed to run much more efficiently. The condo was comfortable, spacious, close to many fantastic businesses, quiet, and the view and vicinity to the lake cannot be beat! We will definitely be back.
