wonderful view of lake Tahoe
Great view and close to lifts. Comfortable beds and more space than depicted in the pictures. It actually sleeps 8 people without the loft and you don’t need to use a ladder.
When we arrived, we spent approximately 30 minutes outside in the cold attempting to get the digital door code to work, but it would not unlock the front door. We tried calling the phone number listed on the booking, only to find that it was disconnected. After contacting customer service, we were placed on hold for about 20 minutes before getting assistance. Ultimately, we had to get a physical key to gain entry. After a long day of travel, this was an uncomfortable start. The hot water heater is probably ancient. It ran out after just one 3-minute shower. With six people staying in the home, this made it very difficult for everyone to get ready. We were also disappointed to learn that the advertised community hot tub hours closed at 5:00 PM and is not open on Saturday and Sunday, which accounts for the majority of our stay. To pile on this, the hot tub even though listed as available has been permanently closed for some time, locals said > 3 months. Carpet nails exposed and sticking up between the wood and carpet connection. Of which we stepped on the first night and it drew blood in the sole of our heel. The home is outdated, and the baseboard heaters don’t circulate very well. Had a great view from the balcony though of Lake Tahoe, just wish we left feeling like the place was worth the money.
The view and location were great!
Love the view some of the amenities are antiquated
We loved the location and peaceful neighborhood in the mountains. We were able to have fun at the beach and casinos and then drive a short distance up the hill to our peaceful, very comfortable place. It was perfect for a sister trip.
