Surrounded by towering Sierra Nevada pines and set just 13 miles from world-class skiing or five miles to refreshing water activities on the waves of Donner Lake, your options for fun are endless. Please note, during the winter weather, a 4x4 vehicle is recommended to access the home safely.
Vaulted, wood-beamed ceilings and the wide-open main living area immediately set a relaxing tone, as you revel in the ambiance of the mountain-chic decor. Curl up in one of the over-size chairs and flip through the cable channels on the flatscreen HDTV while the warmth from the gas fireplace fills the room.
Get everyone together for a fun movie night when you pop in your favorite DVD, or log in to your personal Netflix account while you pass the popcorn. Turn on some music on the CD player and keep the laughs echoing long into the evening when you break out the provided board games as everyone gathers around the dining room table.
Connect to the in-house WiFi to send off that last work email, while you relax on the expansive private deck and bask in beauty of the unparalleled views. The private washer/dryer will make sure dirty clothes stay at bay.
The custom stone-tile floor kitchen gives the gourmets a chance to create a culinary delight. Bright and open, the kitchen is adorned with granite counters, a chef's gas range, and stainless steel appliances, making it easy to let your inner chef shine.
After a long day of fun-filled alpine adventures, the soft queen-size bed in the large master bedroom will lull you to sleep. Soak in the jetted-tub in the master en suite bathroom as you sip a glass of wine and enjoy the tree-lined views from your bubble bath. In the second and third rooms you'll find two more queen-size beds, and plenty of storage space for all of your things.
The fourth and fifth bedrooms both offer a set of twin size beds, perfect for your younger vacationers to enjoy. This five-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home can easily play host to up to 10 guests with room to spare! This home can also be rented as a three-bedroom unit that sleeps six.
The long list of shared resort amenities that you'll have access to will make staying here both fun and relaxing. The home was nice but the fireplace did not work and the only channel on the TV's in the bedrooms was CNN, as if I wanted to watch that garbage while on vacation.
Perfect home for large families. Great downstairs area and upstairs too. My extended family had the best time.
We loved this home. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen, beautiful surroundings. It was a great place to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday with family.
La estancia , el lugar y el clima es de ensueño . Me la pase súper me encanto la cabaña súper moderna y elegante . Me enamore
Pros: The place was furnished nicely. It was large and spacious. The quality of the beds was good. The view was beautiful. The neighbors were welcoming. It felt like a very safe neighborhood. It was close to ski resorts and had a nice walking trail close by. The young kids sled right outside of the house on a small hill and built a snowman. The lodge had great food and wonderful customer service.Safeway grocery store nearby. Cute bakeries and coffee shops near by.
The spa and its amenities were awesome. The pool outside was warm enough to swim in despite the snow. The wet and dry sauna was nice! Multiple Jacuzzis. Massage service impeccable.
Cons:Balancing the temperature throughout the house was a challenge. The master bedroom/bathroom upstairs was startling cold despite other parts of the house being warm. Bring warm PJs. Plan to live out of your suite case as the closets and drawers are locked in the master. If you have multiple people in the house with you plan on spacing out your showers because the hot water heater (despite being turned up) couldn't accommodate back to back 10 to 15 minute showers.
We loved this accommodation. We are a family of five plus two grandparents. The house was spacious, clean, and conveniently located. The HOA amenities were FANTASTIC!
