Charming property that is showing its age a little (kitchen, fridge etc look to be from the seventies). Please be aware that the property has neither a washing machine nor a dishwasher, which was not obvious to us from the listing.

The rats entered through a 5x5 inch hole near the fridge. While a local staff member responded promptly and set a trap, no mice were caught. As a result, we had to prepare and eat our food with caution, and we lost several hours waiting for staff to arrive. After checkout, I spent weeks going back and forth with customer service, only for them to deny any compensation, claiming the issue was "resolved" simply because someone set a trap. This completely disregards the fact that there should not have been rats in the first place, as well as the inconvenience and discomfort we experienced. Additionally, though not as severe, we encountered another issue upon arrival—the second floor remained freezing at 50°F despite running the heater for hours.

Okay cabin, steep drive way, not good for snow days, no one came to clear it, even with a storm weekend. The thermostat kept resetting to 50 degrees in the middle of the night

This cabin is in a great location, less than 20 minutes from both Soda Springs and Boreal ski resorts. The house has two floors, with one bedroom downstairs and the rest of the beds upstairs. Overall, it’s a nice place, but the heating is a big issue. The second floor was freezing. We booked three nights but couldn’t tough it out and left after two because the whole family was miserable and sniffling from the cold. The heating system automatically shuts off at 50°F every afternoon and early morning, and it’s impossible to keep the place warm. Also, we couldn’t find a dishwasher. If the owner upgraded the heating system, this place would be perfect.
