Wooded Luxury at Modern Tahoe Donner Retreat with Private Deck in the Pines

My family stayed in this property with two other families. We all have toddlers. There was ample space for our group and we even had extra beds available. The living, dining, and kitchen areas were nicely designed with ample play space and areas to hang out. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, silverware, and basics (e.g. oil, salt, spices, foil, containers, etc.). We also appreciated that there were sleds in the garage that could be used in the backyard area.

Property was spacious and very clean. I just wish there’s was little more entertainment options (pool table, foosball, table tennis, or something similar). For those staying in the future, be cautious that the recreational facilities (swimming pool, tennis courts, etc) are subject to the club’s hours which vary especially around holidays, and are sometimes subject to advance reservation.

It’s a nice place, but overpriced for the value. The TV did not work - the remotes did not have batteries, and there were no visible directions on how to operate the TV. We are not unfamiliar with these things and could not figure it out. Not a big deal, but the coffee maker did not work and did not have a lid. We are not unfamiliar with coffee makers, either. The pinball machine was not operable. Again, not a big deal but don’t advertise it as an amenity. Accessing the place was very unsafe as there were 6 inches of snow all over the stairs. Granted there was a large storm, but it was a week prior. Overall a nice place, but it should be half the price.

We enjoyed the house, however, the smoke from the fires made it very difficult to breath and we couldn`t open the windows at night to cool down. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

My family and I love this cabin! Plenty of room and bedrooms. The decor is lovely. The kitchen is a dream to cook in and well stocked with trash bags, paper towels, spices, etc. The coffee maker will even grind your fresh, whole bean coffee! The house was very clean/spotless when we arrived. I plan to book next summer. This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
