We’ve stayed here several times. Great location spacious cozy clean. Our go to place to stay in the Tahoe area. Look forward to our next stay!

House was very clean and great for our family. The issue we ran into was the driveway is steep, there was no snow removal the first 3 days. We got 7 feet of snow. We shoveled a LOT! It would be very helpful to know that in advance on the listing prior to booking.

My family stayed here again and loved this place. Its our favorite go to place in the Tahoe area. Clean, cozy and comfortable. And also near great restaurants and services.

When we arrived, the entry was completely covered in snow and we had to dig our way up the stairs to the front door. Once inside, we realized the house wasn’t actually what was listed. It was advertised as a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bath house with a bonus loft, but one of the bedrooms was missing. We eventually figured out that the “missing” bedroom was actually in a completely separate downstairs unit, only accessible from outside. Since we were two families traveling with kids, this setup really didn’t work and wasn’t disclosed at all. To make things worse, the heater in the downstairs unit didn’t work. There were two small space heaters down there (which makes me think this is a known issue), and one of them was plugged in directly over the bed, with the cord hanging above our heads. Not exactly safe or comfortable. After calling Vacasa twice and being on hold for over 30 min.. I came across the local property manager's contact info, Megan. She quickly got back to me and seemed surprised that the listing was incorrect and said for the heating she would send out the repairman - but also suggested that I turn the bathroom heater light on. Megan said she would let Paul, her regional manager, know my concerns and have him reach out to me the next day. I never heard from Paul. The repairman arrived in 15 min as was promised and spent the next thirty minutes pushing the button to try to get the pilot light to light (of course taking breaks to let the gas smell clear out). He said he would grab two space heaters and be back in 15min. He never returned (most likely because he realized we already had those space heaters). The next day, I called Vacasa again and was told there was no record of my call with Megan, no record of a repairman being sent, and no documentation that the house was actually two separate units. I was told someone would follow up about compensation. A few days later, I got an email with a laughable refund. After calling Vacasa again, I was told the issue would be escalated and the local team member and Jessica would contact me within a few days to discuss better compensation. That was over a week ago, and I still haven’t heard from anyone. At this point, I’m just looking for someone to actually follow up and address this properly.

Read listing thoroughly and take the 3D tour. In winter, the downstairs unit would have been a huge inconvenience to use. The driveway is extremely difficult to drive up in snowy conditions, even with 4WD. We had challenges with the thermostats, hopefully that is resolved before the next renter arrives. Master bed was getting soft and one couch was worn out, both could use replacing. Kitchen was stocked fairly well. If you want to soak, there is a huge tub. Overall the stay was ok, even during a huge storm.

Upgraded bathrooms, toiletries, pots and pans. Everything was great. The listing did lie unfortunately and I wish we had received some sort of compensation for the hot tub being closed, the pool being closed, and most amenities were actually not included that the house says it had. Other than that, had a great stay.
