Beautiful condo w/ deck, close to town & skiing

Cozy condo close to restaurants, markets, etc and most importantly the ski slopes!

We stayed at a lovely 'home away from home' in Dolomite Way, Truckee. The condo had everything you need and was a stone's through away from the supermarket and CVC pharmacy. Would highly recommend to families, small groups or a couple wanting to take a vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and convenient. We skied Sugar Bowl which was less than a 20 minute drive away. The pots and pans in the kitchen really need to be replaced. Or bring your own cooking gear. We wish we would have. Other than that, great place. Clean house with garage parking. Easy booking and check in.

Close to food and stores (and coffee). Clean place with nice fireplace.

We were snowed in during our stay but were still able to walk to Starbucks, the grocery store, CVS, and Village Pizzeria, which was very convenient. The reason I’m giving it an “average” rating is due to a few issues. The fire alarm goes off very easily when cooking, which was quite frustrating. After speaking with a neighbor, it sounds like this is a common issue across all units. We also had to shovel ourselves out before checkout because the snowplow didn’t arrive in time, and the only shovel provided was a garden shovel. Additionally, the beds were not very comfortable. The bottom bunk mattress made a lot of noise and kept waking my kids, so no one was able to sleep on it. Thankfully, there were enough sleeping arrangements that we could make it work. On the positive side, the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and utensils, which made it easy to prepare meals. However, we did find it a bit odd that there were no wine glasses. Overall, we did enjoy our stay. We especially appreciated having access to the garage—it was a huge plus during heavy snowfall.

I was really delighted when I saw how clean the unit was. Most places have hidden layers of dust, not the Dolomite Delight. Even behind the headboard of the master room, it was clean as a whistle - not a spec of dust. This theme carried throughout the house. Kitchen, clean. Bathroom, clean. Living areas, clean. My kids really enjoyed the toys, it kept them busy for hours. I really liked the easy access to the snow out back with the gate in the balcony. Very comfortable sleeping arrangements. We didn’t have a single complaint.
