Enjoyed our stay here.
Great home in a perfect location for enjoying all that truckee and north Tahoe has to offer. Tons of space and fully stocked kitchen was appreciated. Highly recommend.
Big rooms, lots of comforts and outside spaces were perfect for relaxing.
This was by far one of the worst rental experiences we’ve ever had, and the complete lack of follow-up or compensation makes it even more infuriating. The house was nowhere near ready when we arrived. We couldn’t even get in until almost 5 PM — completely ruining our first evening, including dinner reservations. No one contacted us with an update or apology. Once inside, we were shocked at how many basic items were missing: towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, trash bags, paper towels — just to name a few. The master bathroom shower didn’t work at all. The outdoor furniture was filthy and some of it was broken. The fire pit couldn’t be used due to a gas leak. The WiFi was awful throughout the house, and we couldn’t even use our phones indoors, which made contacting guest services a nightmare. The TVs were buggy and kept stalling or timing out — we had to constantly reset them just to get anything to work. To make matters worse, we weren’t allowed to park in the driveway because it was being tarred the same day we arrived. There was zero notice or planning — just another disruption to an already ruined trip. Despite all of this, no one from Vacasa has made any meaningful effort to follow up or resolve our concerns. I called several times — no one ever called back. I texted and got slow, ineffective responses. I was told we would be compensated, but no one has reached out. It’s completely unacceptable. We stayed at this property last year through Airbnb and had a great experience. This year, Vacasa took over, jacked up the price, and delivered a significantly worse experience with absolutely no accountability. Do yourself a favor and avoid Vacasa at all costs. We certainly will.
We love this neighborhood for convenience to Northstar, Raley’s grocery store & downtown Truckee. First time staying here and it suited our group of 5 (3 adults/2 teens) perfect. It would be a great home for two families to share. Teens loved bunk bed room. Dining and living space suited our group perfectly for dinner & movie night. Large Bathtub was a nice luxury after a day on the slopes. The large mud room was ideal for snow gear and storage out of the main living spaces. Clean kitchen & bathroom and managed to prepare breakfasts & two meals with what kitchen had available. We were thrilled to find an electric coffee grinder as we brought our hand one from home but this was a perk we were thankful for!
Great home for a ski trip for two families.
