We had a great stay. The kids loved the hot tub and air hockey table. We will definitely come back.
Views, location, home were all perfect
Wonderful view from the back patio!
We booked this home as it seemed like a nice home for our family and friends to spend a week together. We have young kids and the playyard in the back looked perfect since our children are young. We were disappointed that when we got there the playyard was not there. When messaging Vacasa about it they said they weren't aware of that, then later said that it was taken down for the winter. These things takes days to assemble and doesn't reassemble well. I felt like we were lied to. We later found many things around the house that were concerning. The pots and pans are un-usable. We had to go to the grocery store to buy a new set to use. It turns out this was in a previous review and Vacasa said it was replaced - it was not. Worst of all when one of the kid's opened the window to get circulation in the room, we found that the upper level window didn't have a window screen! This home was mis-advertised, the support from the staff was severely lacking, and the home is unsafe. Rent somewhere else.
Plenty of space for our group of 10. Fireplaces were lovely and the views from the house are great. We saw deer and quail. Lovely area which was great for our holiday. Kitchen well equipped - the slow cooker was nice to have and unexpected. Thank you!
This is a nice house with nice furnishings. It would be a great place to stay if they correct a few things. In no way does it have a "chef's kitchen". From the description, I expected it to be a well-stocked kitchen, but it's not set up for cooking or even feeding the number of guests allowed. We had to go buy a sharp knife and a blender. The Teflon pots & pans are all scratched up. There are not enough coffee mugs, and no drinking glasses (only wine glasses and a couple of rocks glasses on a very high shelf - nothing for kids). There isn't enough silverware or dishes for more than one meal. There is no way to store leftovers. The appliances are not great (new coffee maker overflowed and got grounds in the coffee pot, toaster oven doesn't toast, dishwasher doesn't clean well). So the kitchen is basically not very functional. Bring all of your own stuff if you plan to cook any meals here. Also, no beach towels, so if you want to go in the hot tub, bring towels. There are a few other oddities (like no lighting in the main living area), and the back yard is not landscaped or inviting at all, but there are a lot of positives - the house is very spacious, the deck is nice, the view is stunning, the layout is good for people who bring kids (our teens stayed downstairs and we were upstairs, which worked out great), the sofas are large and comfortable, and there is plenty of parking. If the owners make the kitchen better by providing basics like most rental houses do, and have several beach towels for the hot tub, I think it would be way more enjoyable.
