It did the job. Private lake access decent pool and hot tubs. The age of the overall property showed, as there was a major hallway leak during a storm and a minor roof leak in the unit.
The location was so convenient and accessible. The cabin was clean and cozy. Overall, 10/10
This is a great place to stay. The host has taken care of the things mentioned in previous reviews. The place was clean, including the sheets and towels. There were a few small issues like the kitchen lights flicker and the burners on the stove are a bit tilted. Who cares? Lets be realistic, if you are reading this you are looking for a reasonably priced place to stay in a very expensive area. This is just that, so don't expect it to be a five star resort room. It is clean, comfortable, and provides all of the necessities for a few people to stay. Do not hesitate to book this room if you are a person who does not require a posh first-class experience. My son and I stayed for 6 nights. I slept on the bed, which was firm but comfortable, and he slept on the couch, which he chose not to pull out the bed. We went to the supermarket right down the road and cooked most of our meals in the room. We came for the skiing, and heavenly is just a few minutes drive, and Kirkwood and others are about an hour. There is a hot tub, pool, and gym on site.I think over all it was a great experience at a reasonable price. I have used Vacasa for other rentals in the past, and for a large company they are good to work with. They own this whole condo complex, and it is well kept, clean, and seems very safe. Enjoy your time in South Lake Tahoe. It is Awesome.
Loved our stay at Lakeland Village 303! The private beach and hot tub were amazing—we had the best time swimming and watching the sunset. The condo was spacious, comfy, and a great value. Also, the staff at check-in was so kind and welcoming, which made the stay even better. Would definitely come back!
The stay was alright, it got the job done. You can tell the owner puts very minimal effort into the unit from nothing to offer such as salt and pepper, maybe a few coffee pods, etc to the one ply toilet paper. There were however plenty of towels and I did like the gas fireplace. The bed and couches were all uncomfortable but we made do. It was nice to have a balcony and you can see the lake between the trees from the balcony. It’s basically an end unit which is also nice. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again but it was alright for the weekend.
I loved the convenience of checking in without having to deal with going into the office. Everything was mapped out for us on how to arrive, check in, instructions, and checking out.
