Take a Peak

The home itself was okay, but the experience was disappointing due to the complete lack of service support. We had issues immediately upon check-in and reached out to the local contact right away — zero response. We then called Vacasa guest services and were told the local contact would follow up the next morning, but no one ever called, texted, or showed up. We called guest services again the next day and were told they were “following up,” but still nothing. We submitted a compensation request and followed up again, and still received no meaningful response or resolution. If you’re booking expecting professional management and responsive 24/7 support, that was not our experience.

The house

This home was absolutely perfect for our family of four including our 27 year old adult children. The property is centrally located in the Tahoe area for winter sports regardless of which ski resort you’re visiting. Incline Village was quiet yet provided all that we needed. As for this home, it was immaculately clean and very pet friendly for our geriatric fur baby who travels with us. (There was even a dog bed, pet wipes, and a pet food/water mat with bowls.) Master bedroom bed was AMAZING and the vibrating feature felt great after a long day of activities. Kitchen was well stocked. Instacart was awesome in delivering groceries from the local supermarket. The washer/dryer was handy! I do recommend a front door rug for the inside entryway to help with the snow mess that is tracked in with snow boots. (We put down a few pee pads!) even though we could not connect to the WiFi, we were happy and to be fair, we did not reach out to guest services for assistance. Upon arrival, we were unable to unlock the electronic door lock but guest services was prompt with assistance and a solution. We usually select larger properties but we needed pet friendly and this layout was plenty large! We will likely use this property again as it was extremely comfy and easy to locate after flying from Texas for our Christmas trip. 5 Stars indeed!

Loved this place. One room upstairs with a foldable bed and bathroom. Two downstairs with a bathroom. Perfect for a small family of four. No ac but we were out all of the time so no need of it.
