We were at The Chalet at Kings Beach for two nights with two kids under 3. It was great, no problems at all! As long as you pack all the things needed for everyone, you should be good! Beds were comfortable, babies slept all night, parents did too! Keurig machine provided so take your creamer and some K cups. Wifi was working great and lots of storage space. Will recommend to friends and family!
This place was very very basic! Almost zero amenities! No hand towels, no phone in room for emergencies! I know every uses a cell phone these days but land lines are really important just in case! Our shower in room 4 never stopped running we could hear it all night! On the plus side the room was clean, our beds were very comfortable. The price was fair for the area and it was close to Kings beach recreation park area. Would I stay here again? I’m not sure. I’m leaning towards probably not.
I loved the actual bed and they did do a good job providing a clean unit but the property itself is very run down, kind of sketchy. This could be a really nice spot if the owner spent just a little time doing upkeep in the outside area. A couple days at Home Depot and a gardner would do wonders! Come on owners, you can do better! You have everything on auto-pilot and it shows. If you are doing to do that, at least hire a grounds keeper!!
Perfectly located for the lake and shops clean pleasant environment.
Convenience. Parking!
