The best value for money we found for a 2 person stay in North Lake Tahoe. Condo has all you need: kitchen supplies, TV and cosy enough living space, etc. It is all a little bit old (kitchen cabinet door was falling out when opening for example, stove is very old) and the bed/pillows aren’t great. But overall it’s a great stay for that price. We’ve stayed twice and would definitely come back again.
The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The heater works and the hot water worked. There was adequate parking.
It's very comfortable
This home was just ok. Don’t expect much on the “amenities”. Single ply toilet paper and paper towels. Towels are motel 6 caliber and all the pillows are basically from the 70’s. My biggest issue is with the customer service of Vacasa. Signage (home fact sheet) at the house specifically says check out is 11am. I emailed Vacasa for late check out thinking we could check out at noon. Never have I ever had a rental say no. Well they said no and informed me check was 10am. I let them know the signage in the home indicated check out was 11am and they continued to tell me I had to vacate by 10am. While I understand 10am check out was listed online when I arrived I took the signage in home as directive. Would have looked passed that but 2 hours after check out we realized we left an item in the home. We were still in town and thought we could contact the owner and simply go meet someone at complex to retrieve the item. As it was only 2 hours since we left and 3 hours prior to any new arrival we thought it would be easy. I was wrong. Called what I thought was property owner and was disappointed that I was connected to centralized customer service agent who proceeded to tell me I needed to fill out a ticket for my item and they would contact me within 24 hours to let me know next steps. Next steps ??? I was literally standing in the parking lot of the property. Thank god there was a very nice maintenance man who we had met earlier in the day who was able help us because Vacasa customer agents were not helping and were rude. Not until 24 hours later when we were already home did someone call to inquire about our lost item. Will never stay at a Vacasa again. Do better!!
The unit was clean and well supplied with kitchen essentials. The pool in the complex is wonderful and great to spend a few relaxing hours. There are plenty of lounge chairs to accommodate everyone. And this unit is very close to the pool…literally just a very short walk. We intend to visit this unit again.
This is a good location to stay at, close to town and a short drive to the beach. It is clean and comfortable. The size is good for a small family.
