Kitchen was great. Overall great location. The furniture was a bit dated. A bit dusty. No A/C. The only major issue we had was the place was infested with spiders of all sizes and colors. Had several drop down on webs in front of us while sitting at the dining room table. Found a few who had set up a nice big web in some of the corners of the hallway and rooms. Had a spider drop down on the bed while sitting in it. Made us uncomfortable to sleep. The place needs regular pest control spraying which should clear up the issue. I also live in the hills with a similar situation and spiders are one of the easiest pests to control since they are particularly sensitive to pesticides.. just basic regular pest service should be able to handle this. Also, cleaning up the nests in the corners of the walls/ceiling would be helpful.
Mill Camp was ideal! It had lots of space, a fully stacked kitchen, and was close to Northstar resort. It was very handy to be able to take the shuttle too. The shuttle picks up right in the parking lot.
This was the perfect little two-story condo in the Northstar resort community for my week-long stay. Nice quiet unit with beautiful views off the balcony. I loved the many easy hiking trails around this complex. The pools and Jacuzzi were worth the $10 per person entry fee, which is just right up the way.
How quiet the property was during the day. The trails and the lap pool were great.
Cozy 2 bed 2 bath property about a mile from Northstar. Two queen bedrooms are located downstairs with one full bathroom while the main floor has a full bathroom, living area, kitchen, and a fireplace. Perfect for two couples who are traveling together. Fireplace was wonderful (bring your own firewood), the beds/pillows were comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers was great! The kitchen was a little bare bones but nothing that couldn't be stocked by the local grocery store. Wifi was only 2G so it worked well with everything except Zoom calls which were a bit spotty on my Zoom call receivers' end. Switched to my phone hot spot but I have AT&T and it only had two bars. Oh well....got my morning work calls done regardless. Would be great if they could switch to 5G. Can park up to 2 cars and the village is only a short 3-minute drive away - about a mile so not walkable in ski or snowboots but an easy 3 min drive if someone is dropping you off at the base. Note: the hot tub is located at the association center (not sure where this is but you have to drive a few minutes and pay $10/person for use). We never ended up using it but maybe next time. Would recommend this property and stay here again - great price point.
Well-situated condo with a private feel despite being part of a development. Nicely decorated. Close to trails/lake. Be warned that guests pay a $10 per person fee to use the pool. Also, owner needs to restock kitchen - soup spoons, bread knife, steak knives, coffee filters, etc. Thank you.
