Was a perfect Tahoe getaway!

Good value. Close to town. Would have loved storage space or closet for our clothes. Dresser was packed with sheets and blankets. No room for clothes. Bring soap. Well stocked kitchen. No back yard or outdoor seating, but they have pop-up chairs. A bear frequents the street and area. Don't leave food in your car! Super convenient location.

This house has a great location in King's Beach, being less than a ten-minute walk to the beach or any of the many restaurants and shops. The property was clean and well-maintained. There are a couple of drawbacks. The stairs lack a banister, which could pose a safety concern for families with young children. Additionally, the bedrooms have a limited number of electrical outlets. Overall, this is a great place for a beach getaway.

Great location, quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the lake, coffee, and other shops. Though the home was picked up and things like counters were clean, it needs a thorough detail clean. Stairs do not have a rail on the living room side and may not be small child friendly.

Great location! Walking distance from beach, restaurants, and grocery store! A bit dated, but good cabin vibe. No air conditioning, but plenty of fans provided which helped a lot.

I’ll start with the PROS: House was bigger in living room then appeared in pictures. Has a good size backyard, which is not in any pictures at all. Has plenty of parking out front. Convenient, quick walk to town. Now for the CONS: The house carpet is all extremely dirty & the bathroom rug. Carpets have not been cleaned in a long time. Also like animal urine stains. Cobwebs throughout the home and don’t even dare look under the bed or behind a dresser as It looks like it hasn’t been vacuumed or moved in years. You’ll find other peoples dirty socks, toys, wrappers, etc The kitchen is lacking storage and mixing containers. The fridge is a smaller than full-size fridge so be prepared for that if you plan on cooking and storing a lot of food. all of the beds were so uncomfortable. The mattresses were hard. The pillows were flat. The comforters lacked any comfort and some of the sheets appeared to not have even been washed as we found others people hair on them . All of the lights inside still use old-fashioned lightbulbs, which create heat and danger of fire felt unsafe with the plugs as well as anytime you plug something in or pull it out, would cause a spark. All of the lamps are old-fashioned. Nothing was even plugged in so good luck finding most of the plugs as the furniture is so heavy and old it’s difficult to even move them to get to the plug sources. The upstairs was so HOT. We couldn’t even stay up there until the sun had completely gone down and we brought extra fans to help Try to cool it down. There are no screen doors, just a glass door on the front door, which helps provide no extra flow of air through the home either and bugs easily coming in and out. we were only provided a half of a roll of toilet paper no spares and there is no kitchen scrubber either so we had to use paper towels until we could go to the store to buy our own kitchen scrubber. There is no vacuum in the home so don’t even try to clean up yourself. You feel like you’re just sitting in dirt your entire stay. The front area of the home was full of cobwebs and yellow, like pollen covered everywhere and all over the furniture as if no one has even bothered once since spring or summer began dusting off, sweeping or hosing off anything. so you’re welcome as we did it all now. Which Looks a lot better and nicer to use. Also would have preferred some kind of welcome or instructions sheet for any tips tricks or how to use things or who to call. Also be warned. The Bears are very active in this neighborhood upon night one we had our ice chest outside, thinking it was no big deal with simply water bottles and a couple of unopened sodas. A bear came on the first night smashed all of the cans opened the ice chest attempted to go through anything and everything that was outside alsoare very big and tall lifted truck. This large bear had no problem opening the door to the truck. Police on night 2 warning to get into home. I love Tahoe and realize homes are old but this was dirty.
