You'll love skiing the fantastic winter slopes, especially with the Big Springs Express Gondola and the Village Express lift right next door. Spend all afternoon on the mountain then head back home to relax with a long soak in one of the shared hot tubs. Later, use the four-burner gas range in the full kitchen to simmer up a savory soup for a delicious home-cooked meal. You'll love watching your favorite DVD movies on the flatscreen TV. Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities. With its convenient access to numerous ski trails and its many amenities, this amazing mountainside home is sure to be the centerpiece of your next vacation, no matter what time of year you decide to visit!

Great location across parking lot from gondola and ski trail. Only cons were a lot of steps, both up and down to reach the unit from the parking lot and horrible shower head. Unit was easy to find and check-in; TV set-up is a bit wonky with main volume adjustable using the DVD player.

Lots of issues, no responses from the 'on site' property manager. Entry lock instructions in your pre-arrival e-mail don't match the entry lock. Good thing the lock box was unsecured, otherwise not sure how we would've gained entry. Place is smaller than it looks in the photos. Dirty dishes/silverware greeted us. Place wasn't cleaned too well. Microwave was dirty. Dirty dishes/silverware in dishwasher. No USB ports.Not enough storage for our clothes/ski gear for just the two of us. We can't imagine having 4 people occupy the apartment. Be prepared to purchase your own kleenex - none are included with the paper goods. Need more toilet paper? You'll have to buy that yourself. There are no mid-stay cleanings included in what you're paying. The bathroom tub is too high to step into or out of. Couches are uncomfortable. There's a laundry room in the building but you must roam around and ask neighbors to find out where and how to enter (code) because there's nothing about it in the folder with notes to the occupants. Bring a flashlight because the laundry room keypad is not lit and in a very dark place. If you want clean towels during your stay you'll have to wash them yourself. Most light fixtures outdated and not adjustable.
