The living room has comfortable furnishings, or step outside to enjoy your morning coffee and take in the forest view from your covered patio. You'll have access to all that Northstar has to offer. Enjoy quick access to popular outdoor activities like skiing, mountain biking, swimming, and tennis. The Northstar ski resort is a mile away, making this the perfect destination in the winter! A quick drive will take you to downtown Truckee where you can check out the local shops and restaurants. Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. (Site rentals include the use of three picnic tables and up to two gas BBQ grills with grilling utensils.) There is a $10 daily fee per person for use of the facilities. Things to Know

This home is very clean with nice amenities. The shuttle stop is at the end of the parking lot, making for a short walk to catch the shuttle to the village. Our only critique is that the unit is advertised as having a king bed but there were only queens in the single rooms.

The hot water heater capacity was only for one shower. One of our guests took a shower, and immediately I went to take one and the water became cold halfway.

Great location (100 ft. to shuttle stop to Northstar village). Great kitchen, dining and living room area. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals (a little short on wine glasses). Very comfortable and would definitely rent again.
