Cozy ski townhome with washer&dryer - access to pool, hot tub & sauna was praised as a great place to stay, with a layout that worked well for groups and plenty of shared space, bedrooms, and restrooms for a comfortable stay. Guests appreciated the spacious and comfortable setting, along with a large, well-organized kitchen and a practical entryway for storing outerwear and gear. The home was frequently described as clean, nice, and exactly as described. Its location was highlighted as convenient, with easy access to the village, the shuttle, parking, and nearby attractions. Guests also appreciated that it was well stocked with linens, dishes, glasses, silverware, and firewood, and noted the washer and dryer as useful during their stay.

The Northstar area boasts both summer and winter activities. No matter what time of year you are visiting, you will find something for everyone in your group to enjoy. Hit the hiking trails on foot or on bike. Five minutes away is Kings Beach, a popular North Shore escape. Enjoy every manner of winter sports like skiing, snowboarding, and skating. Enjoy access to the Northstar recreation center amenities, which include tennis courts, basketball courts, a fitness center, a sauna, a hot tub, a seasonal lap pool, and an open grill area next to a beautiful creek surrounded by pine, fir, and aspen trees. Enough Bedrooms and bathrooms

The oven stopped working in the middle of cooking dinner, the dishwasher top rack was broken, the ice machine didn't dispense at all, and there was broken & chipped glassware. The heat in the house was all over the place; at one point in the middle of the night, the house temp jumped to 74. Overall, it was very disappointing.

I arrived at the house and complained to vacasa that there was no heat. It was snowing outside and going below 20 degrees overnight. One of the bathrooms didn't have running water, likely because a pipe was frozen. Nobody answered the management phone number that was provided. I got somebody on text who said that there is a safety feature that turns off the heat when a window or door is open - this is obviously false, as the safety feature is to keep the home heated above a min temperature to keep the pipes from freezing, even if the windows are open. None of the doors and windows were open. The agent said that nobody was available to address the issue and told me to use "alternate sources of heat". I had 3 kids and myself and left shortly after I found out the heat was broken / nest thermostat was dead and had no power. They have not yet refunded the stay and claiming that I should receive a credit towards a future stay for the second night I had booked. Horrible experience. Their cleaning staff must have noticed that the heat wasn't working. From my research, only the low end houses in the Tahoe area were managed by Vacasa, I would stay away from this management company. AvantStay and Tahoe Signature Properties are much better.

Good location, but unit is tired. Good bathroom to bedroom ratio, but heating system inadequate. Kitchen missing some basic items like kitchen towels, facial tissues, and oven mitts. Paper products that were there (paper towels and toilet paper) very poor quality.
