We loved the view of the valley and the ski in ski out. The place is dated and a little worn, but location is great. Loved that each room has it own bathroom and an extra 1/2 bath for the kitchen and family room area. The kitchen is small and limited, only good for making simple breakfast and sandwiches. Love the ice maker in the refrigerator, no need make a trip down the hall for ice. One tip: if you plan to use the Pool and Jacuzzi (in the winter), bring your own robe, they do not have robes in the rooms.
The view from the vaulted windows is stunning and the space with 2br,3 baths and kitchen was fantastic for our family of 6. Access to resort chair was so easy. Free ski storage at the resort was nice. The tavern on property was delicious. The shuttle to palisades was handy and ran every 30min. We will go back but I might bring my own coffee maker!
Problems with a broken main living room light, defective coffee maker, relatively few towels, and a carbon monoxide alarm that was chirping low on battery were reported to Vacasa and never addressed. The hotel takes no responsibility for the unit and was not helpful. The property is lovely in itself. The unit is showing wear. Given the considerable rental cost increase, value is not commensurate.
The hotel is falling apart. Our room had a leak in the dishwasher we interacted with Vacasa and no help. The immediate stench of cleaning agents were all over the main level our children couldn’t stay in the room. Again no help from the management company.
Resort amenities are great.
His property was wonderful for my family. We were able to spread out and enjoy all that Lake Tahoe has to offer after long day at the beach or rafting or mountain biking. It felt so good to come back and relax in this home will definitely be coming back.
