Nice and close to the base can walk over to the village if you want to. Kitchen is outdated and in need of a remodel but it did the trick we cook all week to save money on dining out.
Close the slopes, easy, comfortable!
Location, cleanliness, appliances .. everything is perfect. Only issue , which I found, is the closure of the road in front of house ( by closing the gate) which increase the distance to palisade by 1 mile and it is quite difficult to drive in that 1 mile due to more than 1 feet of snow on the road and very narrow road. Gate was opened for around 2 days but it was closed for one day.
The space looks like in the picture. It must have been designed by an architect, flooded with natural light and full of beautiful architectural details. I don’t go to the slopes, and spending time in the living room and large deck with the Mountain Views was a beautiful experience . The location is fantastic too—You can walk to the Village. The gas fireplace was unfortunately turned off by a previous tenant, and it was difficult to turn it back on—don’t touch it— it’s written all over— do not turn off the gas. Vacasa promptly sent a local manager, who was able to fix it. A four star instead of 5, due to some minor issues directly communicated to Vacasa. I definitely would like to stay there again.
The house was very old and musty. The TV was broken and the dishwasher filled with water and never drained. It had an incredible view but this place needs a facelift bad especially the kitchen cabinets and the living room furniture.
Very easy to reach the ski resort without driving.
