Easy walk to restaurants in the village - great deck to take in the sun - amazing kitchen appliances

We loved our stay in this beautiful home! It was very comfortable with plenty of space for our family, with two teenage boys. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were modern and clean. The location is great - we liked being able to walk to and from the ski lifts, albeit uphill on the way back... Also close to bars and restaurants in Palisades Tahoe and a short drive to Lake Tahoe/Truckee for supermarkets etc. 100% recommend!

This place was really lovely, comfortable for our family of 4, clean with a great kitchen, big modern TVs, great laundry in the basement—really couldn't ask for more in a ski condo. The walk to the base of Palisades is pretty easy, it's a 7 minute walk (it is a bit steep to start and you cross the main road, but it's fine.)

The place itself is really nice, modern condo with a beautiful view and furniture. The section of road this is on is a steep hill and was an absolute sheet of ice. There was no one from management dealing with the roads. This is an issue when you advertise the place as being close to the lifts and you are slipping down the only road to walk there. To walk the other way around would be a mile walk so it's either an icy slide or you no longer are in a "close to the slopes" condo We contacted management early in our stay about the conditions and never heard back. We spent about an hour using pickaxes and salt we found in the basement to clear the ice so we could leave. Multiple residents including owners in the condo complex walking by also commented on the icy road conditions and were surprised the management had left it like this

This unit was perfect for our Tahoe vacation! Being directly across from the Palisades Resort was such a convenience—traffic can get hectic, so being able to walk to the ski resort was a huge plus. The unit itself is beautifully updated while still retaining its cozy cabin charm. The layout is versatile and works well for different groups of guests. The deck was an added bonus, looking out at the snow and mountains was unforgettable. We’ll definitely be back!

My experience with Vacasa was disappointing. They were inflexible and did not provide adequate service. The property was in poor condition, yet they were very strict in their policies.
