Spacious condo with pool, close to beach & casinos

Loved our location! Very nice home and spacious enough for our 5 adults. Would have liked to have more cooking items. What was there was low quality and sparse as far as cooking utensils. I went out and purchased additional items to use!

Our reservation was for 5 nights. We've stayed in many condos at Lakeland and this was the worst, grossest unit and the first time we left early because of the unit. What needs fixing is the patio screen door was broken and leaning on the house, the loft has no screens and it gets very hot up there so you can't open the windows, there are spider webs all over the patio, front porch, the windows, the screens. There was a black widow in one bedroom and a spider in the bed of another. The carpet is stained and looks filthy. The only shower doesn't drain and when you shower you end up standing in 6 inches of water. The bathroom is so horribly dated with mold and filth everywhere. The living room has 3 oversized brown sofas that make it hard to walk around. They need to replace these with a size appropriate sectional so the space would be inviting and people would actually want to hang out there. The kitchen was decent with all the basics. Location was fine. Beds were comfortable, but hard to sleep in after finding a spider in one and a black widow in the other bedroom. The tiny room with 2 bunk beds is really the size of a walk in closet. There are no electrical outlets in it, no tv, no nothing but tiny bunk beds crammed in there. This place is 2 bedrooms, a loft with 2 beds and an oversized closet with bunk beds. I reached out to vacasa over and over during our stay, requesting another unit twice, only to get the runaround that they would look into it. After 4 days of this unit we all could not take it anymore and left. We paid over $3100 for this condo and feel we wasted our money. After getting home I reached out to Vacasa hoping they would do something to make it right. What they offered me was $100 to not post a bad review! I declined the offer and hope to spare another family from a ruined vacation. Lake Tahoe was great but this condo was awful and so was Vacasa. I do not recommend staying in unit 450. This condo complex was the barest we've ever seen it. Tons of empty condos, minimal cars parked in the lots. They easily could've moved us and worked on improving that condo we were in. I would not rent any Vacasa homes again. And lastly, I read the reviews and inquired before we came about the dirty unit and stained carpets, and they said all those issues were taken care of. That was a lie because the units and carpets were still disgusting 2 years later. Such a disappointing experience.

Bring your pots and pans along with you, with good spatulas if you planning to make breakfast. Also, if you can hold cold, bring your blankets. The place is clean and small, fresh. It feels good.
