Great stay overall! Would stay here again!
Great spacious house for 5 , common area , nice bathrooms , we really enjoy our stay.
The house was so lovely and really nice neighborhood. Everything was awesome and quiet place to stay in. I would recommend this place if you want to get away from the city.
Checking in and out was breeze. Vacasa does a great job communicating with you. The home is located in a residential neighborhood that is close to town and close to a great park, Sierra at Tahoe and Heavenly. Definitely bring or rent a bike. The whole area is very pedestrian friendly and absolutely gorgeous. My small complaints aside, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to someone looking for a great place to getaway for a few days. The kitchen was well appointed. Lots of extra linen and extra blankets. The house stays really warm at night too. Stay away from Safeway for groceries. It’s way too expensive. Raley’s was much more affordable (crazy I know) but even their meat was cheaper than Safeways club member prices.
Let me start with, the home is very cute with a nice large deck to hang out on. Issues: 1. Either they had a cat in the past or someone brought one in. The whole downstairs smelled of STRONG cat pee. Their resolution was to bring deodorizers. I’m sorry but no, both downstairs rooms need the carpets tore out and replaced. The primary may need the subfloor replaced, it is that bad in the primary bedroom. 2. No A/C in the house which we knew, but one of the rooms did not even have a screen, so we couldn’t even open a window in one room and there fix was sending out another fan. Which just made the whole house worse with the cat pee smell and it being so hot. 3. We had 5 towels and 4 wash clothes. This house is supposed to be for 8 occupancy and we were a party of 7. Their fix was that they did bring two more towels. But I went out and bought 3 from Ross. We didn’t even have hand towels. lol 4. The primary bedroom had two giant wasps or hornets in it. They were both dead but come on folks… vacuum that up. 5. The hot water is great but the temp is turned up to scolding so watch your small children if you have some. 6. If you need to reach out to someone you will end up talking to multiple people so have patience because you’ll have to tell your story over and over if you have issues. 7. If you have laundry, don’t plan on doing any unless you want to stand there and wait for the water to fill the tank. They have a ticket issued for the repair but the note is still on the wash. Come on guys… like let’s put priority on items when this is a rental. 8. The garbage canister outside was full to the brim. We had to call them to come empty it. I am not sure how much the homeowner sees these reviews. But if VACASA is responsible for not being attentive then they are not doing you a service. Yet making your rental unappealing.
Pictures are accurate to the homes appearance. Home could be cleaner and mattresses could be updated. Overall, the home had all we needed for our stay.
