Ideal lake retreat w Easy Beach Access, Gas Stove & Open Layout - Skiing Nearby

Don’t make the mistake I did and read the reviews after booking! I learned after booking that this condo is located in the main lodge and not one toward the back of the property near the lake. With this said I tried to cancel my reservation as we have a baby with a lot of gear to carry and this was our first trip out. We wanted to make it memorable and not a headache. The staff told me I only had 24hours after making the reservation unless you purchase their trip insurance, which we did not as most places allow you to cancel a few days prior. With that said we did not want to lose out on our money so we came as scheduled. I was told by staff that there were luggage racks near the elevators for easy transporting of items. We parked in the underground garage and there were none. It was quite the haul to this room! For one night we had to take two trips. The hallway where our room was located had an extremely strong smell of marijuana mixed with old musty building. The room itself was clean and cute rustic decor; however it’s very outdated with a broken dining room table and an old couch that is falling apart. The shower had an extremely slow drain; which I brought to the attention of the staff and was told they would let their maintenance team aware. The bed is no joke! We were so excited to get some good sleep and well it literally was the worst we’ve had in a while and that’s saying a lot as we have a baby! The bed is cheap, hard, moves when anyone in the bed moves around, and the pillows are not comfortable. The positive about this place is it’s a short walk to the lake.

This is the second time I've stayed at this complex. The apartment is very nice and well-equipped! It has everything you need to enjoy Lake Tahoe. Just keep in mind that it's two floors up, and you have to walk through the entire lobby to get there from the elevator. But if that's not a problem for you, it's the perfect place! Thanks!

Extremely clean, well kept place. Probably the nicest 1 bedroom suite in the lodge that we have stayed in!

Alderwood Serenity was a great place to stay…the home had everything we would of needed and was very lovely.

Be aware that this is in a large building, and the unit is the equivalent of about a 2 block walk from the parking garage. Also be aware that this is in Lakeland Village, and there are no signs that mention "Alderwood Serenity".

The condo was clean and comfortable for 3 people. Minor improvements needed. Soda bed was pretty lumpy, but the memory foam mattress made it more comfortable. We liked having access to the private beach.
