Beautiful and peaceful
Overall nice room. Most of what you need. Coffee would be nice. Upstairs movement very audible. Code didn’t work in the garage. Watch for goose droppings. All in all would consider a return visit.
Love the bed! Super comfy!
The resort has almost everything that you need for a summer trip. It is located in a convenient spot. Nice walking trails and many restaurants within walking distance.
Overall the unit was clean and well appointed but I do think it should be shared that the unit faces a main highway and it quite loud from street traffic. We were not able to use the balcony or even have the slider open due to traffic noise. As others have also noted the noise from the renters above this unit is quite loud. The other issue we had with the unit itself was that our coffee maker did not work. I called the front desk the evening of arrival and was told it would be replaced by 8am the next morning. It was almost 9am before anyone was even staffing the front desk the next day. We ended up having to go out and get coffee which was a bummer since we had already been to the store to get all the items necessary for coffee in the room.
We loved the location - a short walk from the beach/lake. I had my kayak which I could easily launch from the beach. The room is in the lodge, on the first floor, around the corner from the front desk in the lobby. It was clean and had ample space. The kitchen is well-equipped (but lacked a cutting board). The morning light floods in, so an eye-mask is recommended if you need to sleep beyond sunrise. The room has a small balcony overlooking the pool and hot tub. If you're sitting in the two chairs out there (there's also a bistro table) you can't see the pool or hot tub, but can look up into pine trees on the property. Grocery stores and restaurants are in walking distance. We drove once in our 3-day stay, to a trail head 15 or so minutes away, where we enjoyed a glorious hike!
