Location? Amazing. We were able to get to wherever we wanted pretty easily and the neighborhood felt very chill. Not much to do in walking distance, but that was a okay with us. Some of the neighbors were noisy at random times of the late night, with loud parties and talking, but unsure how many of those were locals and how many were renters like us. The house itself? Nice, but I will say the picturesque Giant Triangle Window up top that we can't cover made it a bit difficult to keep the place cooled down in the summer. The second bathroom was also really cramped and also seemed to have some problems with water temperature (shower so small you can't escape the scorching water that you accidentally tweaked it to). The main bathroom was amazing though! If you're a light sleeper, don't sleep downstairs, because you can hear every creak from people walking in the hallways upstairs, but otherwise the downstairs room is the best. If you're looking for a casual place to stay at and aren't afraid of temperature changes in the summer or slightly dated amenities, this is the house for you.
Loved the neighborhood and close enough to walk to a few nice places to eat. Very cozy.
Perfect for 2 small families
This was the perfect cabin for our small friends trip. Very cozy.
The cabin is cozy and perfect for a weekend stay. It was well stocked with what was needed (towels, shampoo, toilet paper, dishes, dish soap, new sponge for dishes). This is also a close drive to everything South Lake Tahoe. Loved that there was a breakfast spot and coffee shop within walking distance.
We were very much looking forward to our stay, as the listing made it seem like an adorable cabin for a weekend in Tahoe. After arriving and finding the amenities minimal at best, many things broken or in disrepair, the carpet downstairs soaked through, lights that just didn't work, rails and windows not to code and unsafe, and only 2 fans to cool the entire place we were BEYOND disappointed. Vacasa said they'd have someone from their local office contact me the next morning to take care of things, but I never heard from anyone until it was time to check out. All in all, we feel like we got taken for ride, as the property is not at all what was promised and NOT worth the price.
