Charming condo with mountain views, less than mile from Alpine Meadows

We arrived at the property and immediately noticed a couple things: 1. the fridge wasn't cleaned out -- there were half a carton of eggs in the fridge and another half eaten carton of ice cream in the freezer. 2. one of the beds wasn't made -- we really hope the bedding was properly cleaned for our stay... 3. a door wrapped in yellow "Caution" tape warning to not enter deck area, which is unsafe and under construction. However, that door actually leads to a bedroom, and not the deck. 4. the ceiling fan was broken, this was pretty detrimental given this property has no A/C and we were there during a 110F heatwave. 5. The toilet's seal in the master bedroom is broken, so every flush I had to open the toilet's water tank and manually push the seal down so the tank would fill and I can flush the next time around. We contacted Vacasa, and the next morning the owner messaged me directly via iMessage. I informed the owner of the problems and he offered to refund the cleaning fees. He also agreed to a no-additional-fee late checkout, but the cleaners came at the original checkout time of 10am. It's now been 5 days after my stay, and Vacasa has not received any request from the owner to refund the cleaning fees. While responsive, Vacasa has not been helpful.

This is a great location for a summer visit to the Lake Tahoe area. Nice that all 4 bedrooms had king or queen size beds (no twins or bunks) for 4 senior couples. 3 full bathrooms was a plus.

Really satisfied with my stay.

Beautiful view and proximity to the mountain was great. Spacious and cozy condo! Huge plus having a parking spot in garage so that we could jet right out to the mountain in the morning.
