Overall it was an “ok” stay Pros: A frame, tall ceilings. Great view. Large deck. Kitchen has complete set. Nice updated appliances. Microwave/fridge all works well. Cons: -house needs some love. Some outlets are loose hanging from wall. Lot of scuffs/drawings on walls. Spider web on windows. Ripped carpet at some places. Dog hair from precious renter on sheets. Some bathroom hangers are missing hangers. Pool table is not complete set. Missing some balls/sticks without tips. Prior to check in: vacasa does not respond to txts or emails if you have questions. I emailed once and txted 2x, no response. You must call or else noone will get back to you. -overall is was recommended stay!
The home was very cleanly, and such a cute place!
For summer, the location is great, the kitchen is really nice and the wifi worked well.
Rooms, decks, and kitchen were spacious, and the property is in a quiet neighborhood.
We booked this property for a family get together (family from Vegas and the UK). It was costly to stay in Kings Beach so this was a budget friendly compromise. It is in a lovely location, and with a few tweaks it could have been ideal. There is no air-con, but there is a ceiling fan in the living/seating area, however we could not get it to work. Despite calling Vacasa on arrival and them promising to call us back, they did not so we could not use it for the duration of our stay. Heat rises - whilst the 2 ground floor bedrooms were a 'manageable' temperature at night with a plug-in fan, the upstairs rooms were uncomfortably hot. Other things we noticed during our stay were... the fridge/freezer has an ice/cold-water dispenser but it did not work - the light 'change filter' was illuminated. The drier was full of damp towels and we found some dirty socks (not ours) under one of the beds. Despite the above, for the price we paid it was 'ok' - the above just left a slight bitter taste.
I enjoyed the space in between homes. The layout was great and spacious. The kids enjoyed the basement pool table. Decor was great and the distance to Kings Beach was reasonable. It's a dog friendly home and I ended up leaving my pups at home with a sitter. Unfortunately, you can smell the accidents previous pets have had that were properly remedied. The ice machine wasn't working. The beds were clean and comfortable and we overall enjoyed our stay.
