We were a large group of 3 families and there was room for everyone. The house was well stocked with all the basics. We enjoyed our stay!
The location to the Bistro is my favorite and the sleeping arrangements are so accommodating for multi-family vacations.
Not only was the house beautiful, but the surroundings, as well. Will definitely go back!!
We loved that the house was on the 8th tee and had a hot tub. The house was well equipped with kitchen items, towels, etc. It was a huge place for only my husband and myself, but we enjoyed the house. Check in was easy.
Where to begin, ugh?! This home is advertised and priced like a luxury rental and it is definitely NOT. We arrived to a infestation of flies in the living room, killing no less than 250 flies over the first two days. There was so much dust that I could write my name on one of the shelves and definitely don't look under a bed when you drop something, so gross! The bath towels smelled so badly of mold and mildew that we called Vacasa immediately to deliver new towels and were told that they could not help us. The patio furniture looked like it had not been cleaned for a year and so we requested that it be cleaned and were told someone would come by to take care of it, but nobody ever came. The little things...There is no television in the living room, so no family movie nights whatsoever. Area rugs and throw pillows are all old and dirty. The bed pillows are terrible, literally not one decent pillow in the house and everyone in our party complained about them. The dishwasher and washing machine smell horribly of mold. Kitchen drawers were dirty under the utensil and the pots and pans are a collection of old scratched teflon that nobody that cooks would want to use There is hot one fan in the home, so we had to go into Sisters to buy fans to cool the upstairs which gets really stuffy. This home is big, but not luxury in the slightest and your expectations should be inline when paying the nightly rate. We stayed in this home for 16 days and the amount of money we spent should have been spent on a much MUCH nicer home. In the end, Vacasa credited us $300 for cleaning. Considering the nightly rate and what we spent, this left us very frustrated. Honestly, considering the nightly rate, I would suggest passing on renting this home unless you just need the room and can't find anything better.
This house is great for large groups and cooks. Every kitchen appliance and utensil you could ask for. The location is perfect. But the home overall is older and dated, and the outdoor space were not clean or comfortable. I would recommend a deep cleaning and improved outdoor furniture, as the beauty of that area is being outside.
