We were visiting elderly family with plans to host them at our rental home for lunches and dinners. This was a perfect house for that kind of entertaining. It is a single level house, easy for walking with a cane to navigate, a nice kitchen set-up for making meals including a propane bar-b-que. A spacious conversation area so everyone had a nice comfortable spot to sit, good views through the tall windows facing the ocean, etc. If you are a walker/runner, there is the Rogue Hills residential loop that goes up and down as one goes around. Or it is about a half mile walk *down* to the beach, and a similar half mile walk *up* from the beach. The beach itself is quite walkable either north or south.

The furniture in this home is uncomfortable all around, couches and beds. It was cold in this home with no way to control the heat. It isn't good when you can see your breath in the house. The ants are taking over the home. Please get an exterminator to take care of the ants instead of ant traps. Those alone will not cure the infestation of ants at this home.

The house was very clean and very welcoming. This is the second time I’ve rented this house and I would not do that if I was dissatisfied at all.

We selected this house because we thought it was an easy walk to the beach. We were not sure how to get to the beach, with out crossing 101 or walking down the roads. We could not find a trail to the beach. The view from the house was ok , there were houses in between the beach and our rental. The rental was ok, and sad because it could of been great. But it wasn't as clean as it should have been. The master bed had a big sunken middle in the bed. The master shower door would catch on the bottom of the door. Made it very difficult to open or close. The shower curtain in the other bathroom had that red mold on it, was not clean at all. In the front bedroom it was missing a smoke alarm. The house is a newer home and could be really nice if it was cleaner, and the few things like what I mentioned were corrected. We would probably not recommend this home. Thank you
