it met our needs
Great for a family or group looking to get a good value. Nice spacious rooms. All very standard but good. It is not the fancy place you go but the location and the value is really good.
Honestly worst check in experience in Sunriver and been coming here for 20 years. House toilet was plugged. Not a big deal. Then we had no dish soap, no toilet paper other than rolls on holders. Wouldn’t bring us anything. Had to go get our own. Then finally they did drop off dish washer soap. Vacasa sucks and will avoid them at all costs.
Great comfortable place close to everything. We had the perfect little family vacation here. Next time we would love to stay longer!
I was a little concerned about the home’s cleanliness when I read reviews that stated the carpets were stained and gross. Fortunately, the flooring was brand new! The home was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with necessities. The home was close to the shark, the Village and a short distance to Fort Rock Park on the bikes. There were about 6-8 bikes to choose from (2 were children’s sizes, the rest adult sizes) which were awesome to ride around on.
The house overall was generally clean doing a quick glance. Once you start actually looking at things it was not the cleanest and extremely bare. There were hairs all over both bath tubs. Both shower curtains had a lot of pink nasty mildew/mold type situation going on at the bottoms. The dishwasher wasn't even ran before is so we had to clean the last guests dishes. There was a layer of dust on all the blinds and decorations. I took pictures of it all for proof. There was animal hair around the house and couch when it lists it's a no animal home. Extremely disappointed with the amenities as these were the main features I was looking for to rent the house. This house offered a ping pong table and working hot tub. There was no ping pong table anywhere on the premises. The hot tub had only some jets working in it. Furniture was all older and not updated. Bedding on downstairs beds were old and ripped. There was also a christmas tree and christmas decorations up in mid march that were super dusty. We had a snow storm hit while there. In order to get any help from the actual property owners we had to have Sunriver contact vacasa to get it moving for us. When we first called vacasa, after going back and forth with the agent that we physically were trapped in by snow and couldn't leave the driveway, they said ok we will make a note and get back to you in a couple hours. So after this we called Sunriver Resort who told us it was actually Vacasa's responsibility since we rented thru them which makes sense. But when we told them what vacasa said they called for us and got us a response almost instantly. We were then told someone would be there in a half hour to help. One guy showed up and got the shovels out of the house so my partner had to help dig ourselves out for a total of an hour and 15 minutes. The last 5 minutes of that escapade another property manager came by to finally help. But at that point we had already been shoveling for over an hour. Also side note, when the first man got there the neighbor came out and started yelling about fighting with him. Safe to say we were very shocked. Overall we were pretty disappointed and will not be returning to this rental house next time we come to Sunriver.
