Stunning Bend Home on the Hill with Private Hot Tub, City Views, & Game Room

House was cold upon arrival. Upstairs heats, downstairs does not, so bad HVAC system renders the downstairs game room unusable. Space heaters provided tells us that you know the HVAC system is no good and space heaters are a fire hazard if run for prolonged time periods. Hot tub was cold and no one responded to our service request to fix it until the final day. Poor property management. Good overall space and good bedrooms, nice location too. Just sloppy management and not a fully functional house.

This is a wonderful house in a great location. The view is spectacular and there is lots of room. The hot tub on the deck is great. But, it has also suffered from a lack of attention and investment. For example, there are 12 pool cues at the nice pool table downstairs -- one of them has a tip, all the others are unusable. The downstairs freezer is broken. The downstairs fireplace does not work. The loser deck BBQ does not work. The upper deck BBQ barely works. That's probably why a BBQ is in a big box sitting right by the front door. The hot tub cover weighs about 100 pounds and takes 3 people to take it off and put it back on. The kitchen, dining room, living room are nicely laid out all with a great view. But, the kitchen is also poorly appointed. There isn't a sharp knife in the house. The refrigerator ice machine doesn't work. The frying pans are all old and in poor condition. There is virtually nothing in the kitchen in terms of basic cooking items. No salt, no pepper, no oil, no sugar, no nothing. When you pay what you have to pay for a house of this quality you expect those basics to be present. So, the house has all the qualities to make it great --- location, view, size, layout. It just needs some attention and some investment to make it actually great.

From the time we arrived we loved this home. It was cleaned really well, seating and space was ample and location was the perfect spot. There were 11 of us and we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. We had a couple of questions and the response was so quick, especially during the holiday. We are going to try and book this as part of our yearly Thanksgiving Tradition.

Such a great spot if you're hosting a large group. Very close to everything in town, lots of comfy beds and common spaces, and views to die for!
