The views of the lake were beautiful.
This spot was perfect for two!
Clean, centralized, and next to a beautiful lake! Great location.
This place DESPERATELY needs improvements. We stayed at this property 4yrs ago and at that time we had already noticed maybe a little paint job would help. But, wow, this place has unfortunately just went down hill. The outside is just a hazard and the inside needs help as well. (Dirty walls, blinds falling apart not sure if the bed was clean) It seems as the owner doesn’t really care about ever fixing the property given that multiple complaints have been made. Would not recommend.
The lake view was beautiful! House is run down and looks nothing like the pictures. The deck to the lake is very sketchy!.
The picture’s in the advertisement are 100% false. We discovered the place was last sold in 2004 and we assume the pictures were taken at the time when the house was on the market. There are no gleaming hardwood floors, no sunlight filled dining room, the place was so dirty and many things were broken inside. The path to the deck over looking the lake is overgrown and the deck is so old and rotten it swayed back and forth when we walked out onto it. The wood was rotten and many holes in the flooring. The steps leading to the gangway to get to the lower dock were slanted, no hand railing and slippery. There was a missing board to step onto the gangway that headed down to the lower dock. If an inspector were to inspect the property, this entire area would not pass. It’s literally a hazard and liability for the owner if someone got hurt on the deck or stairs. After many bad reviews the owner still does nothing to fix these issues and Vascasa does not make the owner update the pictures to reflect what people are really paying for. Overall a very disappointing experience and hope this review helps other people to not make the same mistake we did by booking here.
