Mountain-view retreat with deck, grill & washer&dryer

The house is exactly what they said. It was going to be, had a very good time.

Ease of leaving the VACASA property. This place is over grown with Aspen shoots, all in the lawn. A/C didn't work for four nights. Decorative vegetation on patio is deader than dead. Big disappointment.

Every year my family hosts a reunion at a lot we own on Lazy River South. This home was perfect, very close to the festivities, roomy and comfortable. We didn't utilize everything the home had to offer as we spent most of our time at the reunion there but it was perfect for our stay!

Half the width of the long entry sidewalk from parking to front door was soooo overgrown with volunteer 4+ height bushes, weeds, and trees that we had trouble getting around it. We found some sturdy kitchen scissors and cut the overgrowth all back so we could access. The yard is not like pictured, it is dirt and at least 30 volunteer trees starting to take over in the front yard of the home. The deck has HUGE half whisky planters on it (8 huge planters) FULL if dead gross bushes and trees. What a TERRIBLE view! If you are used to living in a backwoods mobile home park that's not paved and has dead landscaping then this may be a step up for you. But for a relaxing deck and livingroom view it's horrible! The home has a for sale sign out front and realtor info on the counter. It's obvious that the owners are only using Vacasa to get some income till it sells. The kitchen is spacious but there's NO bar stools! How does a group hang out and visit with no kitchen bar stools?! The home is sparsely furnished. There's a fireplace and some wood but no hachet to cut kindling. It was cold the first two nights we were there and we wanted a nice little fire going plus it makes for enjoyable vacation atmosphere. We absolutely DO NOT recommend this place at all. The initial drive up and gross overgrown dirt patch is enough in itself to not recommend it. The huge dead bushes on the deck would cause one to call for an immediate refund. I think, for us, a $200.00 refund due to false advertising would be nice. The pictures posted on the Vacasa site show well manicured landscaping but it's trailer- trash looking at best. Inside is sparse and not too cozy.
