The house sits centered on the most beautiful Lake view. I loved the swing on the porch and the kayaks. The wood burning fireplace and the walk down to the lake.
This house was just lovely - three floors, each with beautiful lake views. The house was well equipped for relaxing, cooking, reading, etc. If you don't mind living among three floors (we don't) then this house is really perfect. The dock was just great - our family spent nearly the whole time fishing and kayaking around the beautiful tranquil lake. The house is on a quiet road, perfect for taking a stroll. We didn't bring dogs on our trip but it seemed ideal for pets. Someone else commented that there wasn't much space to walk a dog, but I would disagree. There is yardage by the water and the long road - lots of space to walk pets. We can't wait to visit again!
We booked this house for Christmas week and it was the best! The scenery was amazing and the house was perfect! Very dog friendly and our fur baby enjoyed it as much as we did. Thanks so much for an amazing stay
The house was perfect for a romantic getaway for me and my wife. The location is exceptional and the amenities were first rate. On the downside was the mattress was soft for my preference and the thermostats were difficult to adjust.
First the good: Gorgeous lake views with outstanding decks and a boat dock with a small grassy area for the pooch. Comfortable, well appointed home off the hustle & bustle of US 101. Very nice drive from the highway, really a rare find. Now the not so good: First day, remodel going on next door was very noisy all day long, coupled with hazard tree removal the same day made escape neccessary. The dishwasher was broken, stunk to high heaven, and we were not informed it was broken. We were actually instructed to run it before we left. Internet is so-so, pretty good for satellite, but forget 4k streaming on the nice TV. Still, it was good enough for 1080P streaming and fast enough for the net. Even so, we would love to come back. I urge anyone traveling the Oregon Coast to get off 101 and see what you are missing
We had a wonderful time at this house! When we first arrived, there was a bit of a strange smell, but we later realized it was coming from the insto-logs on the bottom floor—not a big deal once we figured it out. The entry-level floor is small, but it was just my husband and me, so it worked perfectly. The top floor has a spacious lounge area, and the upper deck offers beautiful views of the lake—definitely a highlight! The path down to the lake was actually shorter and easier than we expected, which was a pleasant surprise. One note: the bottom set of stairs could use a little maintenance, as a step or two seem to be starting to rot. Fishing from the dock was fantastic—we had a great time out there. The light switches were labeled, which helped, but they were still a bit confusing. Some switches controlled the top outlet in the bedroom, which turned off any plugged-in devices unexpectedly. Overall, we would absolutely recommend this home for a couple or a small family. We truly enjoyed our stay
