Bring along recipes to wow your fellow travelers with delicious home-cooked meals on a daily basis. The open kitchen boasts light blue walls, light counters, and ample cabinets. Take advantage of having major and small appliances (such as a microwave, coffeemaker and grinder, blender, and toaster) and save time and money when you make your own meals. Outside, there's a gas grill for barbecues. The adjacent dining table seats everyone and is great for sit-down meals together, craft activities, and game nights after an easy cleanup (just toss dishes in the dishwasher!). Relax in the living room and spend a quiet night in chatting with loved ones, sipping crisp glasses of wine, and watching movies on the flatscreen TV. Cable and a DVD player are also included so you won't miss your favorite TV shows. One full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is just off the hallway, giving everyone easy access for the morning routine and hot showers after a day of hiking. There's also a heated outdoor shower with a flexible wand to wash your sandy or dusty feet off after a day of hiking or strolling the beach. Two well-decorated bedrooms (one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen bed and twin bunk beds) boast clean, white linens below blue shell accent pillows. With four beds, all six adventurers (four adults at most, please) have a place to rest their head each night. A door off the master bedroom leads to the back deck, making it easy to let the dogs out in the morning. Up to two dogs can come along for the fun, but please keep in mind there is a nightly pet fee and that they must be less than 75 pounds each. Haystack Rock and The Needles are a short stroll down the beach and make for a perfect morning workout before starting the day. On warmer days, let the kids dig in the sand and build sand castles, chase the seagulls, and dip their toes in the cool water. Oswald West State Park is just 10 miles south of Cannon Beach and is carved out with easy, intermediate, and advanced hiking trails. Get up early and hike to the top of Neakahnie Mountain to take in some incredible panoramic ocean views. Take a night off from cooking in your rental and head out to The Wayfarer Restaurant and Lounge for a delicious meal, or start your day with a hot cup of coffee from Sleepy Monk Coffee Roaster.
