Spacious but cozy, airy and well-lit, located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood on a dead end lane, but only a few minutes off the highway. It’s is also just a ten minute drive to the beautiful beach at Nehalem Bay State. The house is modern, well-kept, and nicely furnished and decorated without being cluttered. Very enjoyable, highly recommended.

Nice layout for 2 small families. Loved the converted garage into game room with tiny record player. Appreciated some carpet in bedrooms as the main area tile flooring did get cold on the feet. Basic cleaning was fine but needed a decent deep clean under beds, cobwebs on lighting and such. Maybe had been a bit vacant from winter months but still.

My stay at this "Cottage in the Woods" was absolutely fantastic and exactly the peaceful retreat we needed. The setting is idyllic, offering that perfect blend of secluded nature and easy access to the coast's attractions. The hot tub was a definite highlight, providing a wonderfully relaxing way to unwind after a day of exploring. Inside, the cozy spaces were inviting and comfortable, making us feel right at home. Nature lovers will adore the local wildlife; we were thrilled to spot beavers in the creek nearby! It was a real treat to see them in their natural habitat. The location is superb. It's easy to get to the beaches and local restaurants, so we never felt isolated. A short drive took us right to the ocean, offering the best of both worlds. A particular highlight of our trip was visiting the Rockaway Big Tree Trailhead. It's a beautiful, easy walk on a well-maintained boardwalk through an old-growth forest, leading to a massive, ancient cedar tree. It was a stunning experience and a must-see for anyone in the area. Overall, a brilliant stay and we can't wait to go back!
