Downtown Sisters home with private hot tub & fenced yard - dogs welcome

We have stayed at this home twice before and had a great experience, which is why this visit was so disappointing. The location is great, and the home itself has a lot of potential. Unfortunately, the condition of the property has noticeably declined. Upon arrival, the upstairs bedding had human hair (and possibly pet hair) on the sheets and pillows, and the blanket in the primary bedroom had stains that required washing before we could use it. The towels and bedding throughout the home are well worn and in need of replacement. Several maintenance issues also impacted our stay. The upstairs shower drain was clogged, the dishwasher never worked during our entire stay (so we hand washed dishes for four days), the dryer made an extremely loud noise while running, and the hot tub was only 85° and displaying an error code when we arrived. We were able to troubleshoot the hot tub ourselves, and maintenance later unclogged the shower, but the dishwasher remained unusable throughout our stay. The king-size mattress in the primary bedroom is overdue for replacement. An egg-crate mattress topper isn’t an adequate solution for a worn-out mattress. We also noticed that the outdoor seating area was missing a couch cushion, and the remaining cushions were worn and should be replaced. The local maintenance technician responded quickly and did everything he could to address the issues during our stay, but some problem's could not be repaired while we were there. Overall, we felt the home did not match the premium price we paid for our stay. With updated furnishings, replacement linens, better quality control by the cleaning crew, and repairs to the appliances, this property could once again be an excellent vacation rental. Until those improvements are made, however, I don’t believe it delivers the experience its price suggests.

I loved it being close to town. It was a big house that had plenty of room.

Loved the upstairs separate game and tv area as well as the fenced back yard for our dogs.

The location and how was perfect for our family, we have 2 young kids and a dog, so being dog friendly was wonderful. The house had great separation of space and is ideally located for walking, and hiking, and enjoying the sisters area

We enjoyed being able to have the family together for an early Christmas gathering. It was perfect!
