Dog-friendly ocean view home with WiFi, remote work spaces, and washer&dryer

The photos on the listing need to be updated as they didn't reflect the view, interiors, etc. Only views from the upper rooms, not from the downstairs level. Bushes in the backyard need to be trimmed so you can see the ocean. Various problems with ants, lights, toilet running. Could be a gorgeous place but lots of items need upkeep and maintenance.

We stayed for a week at Il Mare for a family vacation. The house is spacious but cozy and perfect for a group or family vacation. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bathrooms were well stocked. It snowed on one of the days we were there and the house stayed plenty warm despite its open spacious areas. The views from the upstairs bedrooms are amazing! There isn't a trail to get down to the beach directly from the house as it sits high up on a bluff, but you can walk to the edge of the yard and overlook the beach and ocean right below. We did wish that we could have had access to the garage to park our river drift boat in out of the rain but still had plenty of space without having the access. We would definitely stay at Il Mare again! We really enjoyed everything!

Our company has stayed at three different air b & b's in the area since December 2025. This was our favorite. It was clean, no ants, and comfortable. The couches were real couches and the beds were comfortable as well. The beautiful sound of the ocean in the morning and evening are absolutely peaceful. This was a home away from home.

We loved this house! Private, dog-friendly, comfy beds and furniture, awesome little library and game table, plus beautiful ocean views from the second floor bedrooms and balconies. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner and the house is just a short drive from Gold Beach. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The only downside was no beach access if that’s important to you, but an easy drive to the beach. Very clean and well stocked - we’d love to come back!

We had a nice stay here and appreciated the layout - every bedroom with an en suite (or jack and Jill) full bath. The couches were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The home does have some wear and tear (the upstairs bedroom windows seemed really drafty and it was very loud during a storm) but overall a great place to stay.
