This is a really nice place for a couple to stay or maybe with a couple of young kids too. It has an incredible view of the South Slough (a tidal waterway with all kinds of wildlife) and they even provide a couple of nice binoculars so you can see things in detail. It is located just outside of Charleston and is not far from the Oregon beaches or town. There's a nice sized parking area and a covered outdoor sitting/eating area along with a barbeque. A nice clean laundry room with what looked like a new washer and dryer, and distilled water is even provided for the iron! We were extremely impressed and will definitely be staying here again when we come back through the area if it is available. :)

It was such a lovely little home and it was so private! The view from the deck was SPECTACULAR. We really enjoyed all of the taxidermy and custom light fixture. It was a cozy comfortable place to relax and be refreshed. It's really in an IDEAL location, so close to a few towns and still feels like you're nestled in the forest. It was Very clean and fully stocked for use. We appreciated the necessary items to cook our meals right there and relax. It just felt like we were visiting a relatives home and felt at ease. We hope to come and stay again and have shared with our friends about this quaint little oasis.

I chose this site for the views of the Slough. It did not disappoint. Relaxing, peaceful and a view of the Slough and birdwatching was perfect. It has a nice cozy feel to spend time with family. We will definitely enjoy our next visit.

It was beautiful and very nice. Almost picture perfect. It IS REALLY loud in the bread room from the shop next door during the day and you hear every car that passes on the road at night. I had to buy earplugs to fall asleep almost every night and slept on the couch if I needed a nap in the day
