Close to the beach and central Seaside.

Loved the location. 2-2.5 blocks from the beach 4-5 blocks from town… perfect location. Loved the fenced back yard for privacy and the indoor fireplace. Just a heads up that this house is three bedrooms, and one of the bedrooms has a really cool sofa in it that converts to a bed, but that room is small and not the size of the other rooms. The master bedroom has a bathroom in it and it’s very nice sized and the other two bedrooms have a bathroom in between them. All of this was fine, but it’s important to know that one of the bedrooms has a bathroom in it. There’s a propane fire pit in the backyard, we did not get to use it, but it would’ve been nice too if we had more time. The home has one couch that seats about three people and two oversized chairs so if you have more than two couples seating could be challenging downstairs. There is a dining room table that people could sit at if you’re all watching TV, but it wouldn’t be as comfortable. The home is nice and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed. We would stay there again.

We received a noise violation from Vacasa - before we even arrived at the house. The dishwasher was broken, the ice and water in the refrigerator door was broken. There are a total of 10 signs with rules, policies, and “suggestions”. Apparently the next door neighbor has a history of filing noise complaints for the slightest bit of sound. Made us feel like we had to tiptoe and speak in whispers during our stay (it’s a townhome, you share a common wall with the neighbor). The floors squeaked, especially upstairs, which made me further worried about noise complaints. I called Vacasa 3 times, texted twice, and stopped by their local office, all without being able to speak to a local customer service representative. The call center assured me repeatedly that someone from the Seaside office would contact me, but no one ever did. Find another rental, and another rental company. You’ll have a much happier stay.
