The Tinker House

This vintage home accommodates large groups well. There are quirks that come with it's age such as the galley kitchen and staircases. There is a bathroom for each bedroom with beautiful bathtubs, great for soaking and warming up from a cold day at the beach. It was a great place to stay and enjoy Long Beach and the surrounding area!

This is a beautiful historic home walking distance from the beach and downtown. The home is well preserved and let me tell you...each bedroom has a bathroom! How great! The only showers are downstairs other bathrooms have soaking tubs and after a day on the beach their instant hot water tank got a work out and stayed up with the demand. The kitchen is TINY...so if you have lots of people who cook remember just two will fit in the galley kitchen at a time. We had a great time in this home and enjoyed the historic feel and preservation of what was the beginning of Long Beach or "Tinkerville". Look at the history of the Tinker House!

Great location. Plenty of room! We love that every bedroom has a bathroom of its own!

I loved the house and the atmosphere. It was beautiful and rustic in all the right ways.

We had 8 people and this worked perfect! We used the twin fold up bed in the main floor king bedroom. There's an alcove that fit the twin bed perfectly. We enjoyed the multiple bathrooms. The kitchen table was big enough for all of us. The location of the rental is great! We didn't walk from our rental to the beach but there was a beach access within a 3 minute drive. The beach is beautiful! You can definitely stay there all day. The shops in town are cute! We would definitely rent this spot again!
