The home was accommodating but we missed a few amenities in the kitchen area, wine glasses, mixer and casserole dishes. The home had lots of character and charm with wood craftmanship which we appreciated. The beach access was a little challenging for older individuals to manage the rock berm. Overall, the home was very accommodating, and we would rent it again.
The house, its location, and its condition only added to a great stay.
The site, and the views, are terrific. The property, though 'mature', has been upgraded significantly. Our stary was overall very enjoyable. Our nly real concern - the tree near the front door has overgrown and hangs to about mid chest with a half inch broken branch protruding at eye level. Needs attention.
Incredibly cozy and charming place! Tons of room for our extended family - grandparents were able to stay on the main floor without worrying about stairs, kids stayed downstairs with the cool game room, parents upstairs in the gorgeous huge master suite. It's an older home with some quirks - squeaky floors and older plumbing - but we loved the old world charm and vintage items throughout. You can't beat the location with views from every room and easy access to a quiet, uncrowded beach, yet still 15 minutes from Cannon Beach or Manzanita. We'd definitely stay here again! Lovely place for an extended weekend with lots of room for everyone.
While we loved our families time together and the beach was spectacular, the house was a terrible! Dirty, safety hazards, unkept overgrown grounds. List goes on and on. Shouldn't be a vacation rental house!
We loved the size of the house, that it had plenty of dishes, minus wine glasses, parking for several cars, and the location was stunning on a very secluded beach away from tourists.
