We loved the cabin feel, the ocean views, and proximity to the beach.
Walkability was great. Unfortunately cannot recommend due to lack of cleanliness.
Wonderful view and a great deck, although we were there in December and so didn't use it. House is a bit dated, except for the kitchen and bathrooms which have been remodeled recently. Access to the house is only from the street level up 15-20 uneven stairs which can be challenging to haul up heavy ice chests and suitcases, especially at night or when they are wet and slippery.
We love Brynmarie - it is a great place to stay in Manzanita. This was our second stay there and the house is just the right size for us and our dog. We love to sit on the deck and watch the sun go down and then make a delicious dinner in the well appointed kitchen. It is a short walk to downtown Manzanita. And the public beach path across the street makes it super easy to get to the beach.
I don't see any other place to put this The home was great but the extra fees are getting ridiculous. I will be looking for local companies from now on.
The house itself and the location is great. When on the Oregon coast we keep busy outside during the day and like to cozy up to movies at night. The one TV is not a SMART TV so we could not stream our services (we have everything except Netflix which was the only option available on the remote). DISH service did not have good options and although we came prepared with movies on a USB, the TV would not accommodate access to the USB. Also, we requested a late check-out two days prior to our departure via VRBO messaging. At the 36 hour mark we received no response. I finally called the 800 number and they told me that late check-out was not available however, if we wanted to extend our stay another night we could. The lack of timely response is unacceptable and the fact that they could not extend check out by 2 hours when there was no one checking in that day is terrible customer service. We use VRBO quite a bit and this is the first time I've experienced terrible response time and questionable service. I hope this is not the new normal.
