Closest home to Mosier Falls with mountain & river views, hot tub, & game room

Myself and three friends with young children stayed here for two nights in August. The house is cute with quirky decorations and a good layout. It is close to a small convenience store and cute coffee shop and just a short drive into Hood River. The view of the falls was a perk. The hot tub was nice, it was serviced while we were there so that was a plus. It is an older home with obvious signs of age and disrepair. Most of it was no big deal, but there were some things that were hard to ignore. Ants and ant traps on the kitchen counter. I understand it's hard to control pests and bugs but something needs to be done to try other than sticking poison packs on the kitchen counters. The amount of spiderwebs and dead bugs in corners and in the high points of the ceiling was unsightly. Certain areas didn't seem to have been vacuumed well or at all. The slider door didn't seem to lock, just had a wood piece in the track, and it was hard to open to the deck. Overall our stay was decent, nothing was so terrible we needed to make a fuss while we were there to disturb our stay, but there is definitely a build up of grime and the house could use a good deep clean and air out, with some repairs made as well.

This house is lovely, and the location could not be more beautiful. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were warm and comfortable.

The home had an interesting history and was a fun and quirky place to stay. Hearing the waterfall at night as our white noise while falling asleep was lovely. The house worked well for 4 people and had lots of community space for games, meals and chatting.

My husband, our three kids, and I absolutely loved this house. It’s super quirky in the best way, which added to the fun. Our two younger boys couldn’t get enough of the upstairs bonus area with the foosball table, games, and DVDs. We spent a ton of time in the hot tub soaking in the amazing view, and we even hiked the trail behind the property up to the waterfall. The little town of Mosier was wonderful too — we especially enjoyed the local coffee shop. The home itself was spotless, the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was impressively well stocked. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing and memorable stay!

Our family loved staying here! Sooo roomy with beautiful views and of course the amazing waterfall! All amenities provided. Hot tub was fabulous! Comfy beds too. Plenty of pillows and blankets. Nice and clean. We would love to come and stay again! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Happy memories to cherish!
